I Believe Your Body Is Always Trying to Tell You Something.

I'm Betsy. Here's how I ended up doing this work, and why I'm here for you.

Betsy Blandford Walker

I was a competitive ski racer growing up in Vail, CO. Making the US Women's Ski team and racing the World Cup was my goal and dream from the time I was 8.

One morning at the US Ski Team World Cup qualification camp, a stress fracture robbed me of my dream. I couldn't ski, or walk.

After five years racing collegiate NCAA and two years on the women's pro circuit, I was plagued by a back injury and chronic sciatica pain. Physical therapy and chiropractic gave no relief. Then one day, I tried Pilates. Within two weeks all my pain was gone and I began to rebuild my body back. I thought, "There's really something to this."

That journey led me to teach Pilates in 2006 after the birth of my two children. Since then, I've spent 20 years continually learning, fine tuning and teaching what actually works specifically for my student.

My experience and training taught me that your nervous system and body are always trying to tell you something. I have learned to trust my intuition about what my students need. There is always a way into the body, we just need to find the best way in for you.

Most importantly, I see the whole picture, get to the root of the issue, and guide you to make significant changes in your life and how you feel. This is what motivates me!

Twenty Years of Hands-On Practice.

My varied background includes:

  • Pilates
  • aromatherapy applications
  • microcurrent pain and scar release
  • neuro training
  • peptide education
  • LTAP Level 1 with renowned athletic trainer Anna Hartman
  • functional medicine health coaching certification in process

This makes me uniquely able to see the big picture. That is why my clients have stayed as long as 10 years. They love that I continue to learn and bring them the best, most effective solutions.

Most importantly: I test everything on myself first. The peptides, the oils, the approaches. I don't recommend anything I haven't walked through myself.

I must mind my own nervous system to have the necessary presence and energy to coach and teach...

I live in Centennial with my family. I love a good cup of herbal tea, and I'm usually planning my next hike or thinking about how I can make a deliciously healthy meal for dinner with multiple leftover options. I love to cook with essential oils, herbs and garden fresh organic fruits and veggies.

I read voraciously, and listen to multiple health related podcasts weekly. When I need to chill out, I check in with my nervous system, play with my dog, practice releasing with balls, listen to meditations, practice Yoga Nidra, and listen to sleep stories to fall asleep quickly.

I'm the kind of person who will remember details about your life and ask about them next time I see you. I care deeply about the people I work with. You become family.

If any of this sounded like you?
