Long Story short…
Working out of a small, private studio, Betsy Walker is a certified Pilates and movement teacher, as well as a Raindrop Technique Facilitator. Her interest in using targeted, mindful movement to help clients reduce pain and live fuller lives was born out of her own experiences recovering from injuries sustained from her years as a competitive downhill skier. More recently, she has added pure therapeutic essential oils to her practice as a way to help clients reach their goals of increasing movement, reducing pain, and achieving physical and spiritual balance.
With a focus on bringing beneficial techniques to her practice, Betsy is continually furthering her education and is Certified by the Pilates Method Alliance. She also regularly investigates natural and alternative therapies and interacts with gifted physical therapists to learn as much as she can about wellness techniques.
Betsy enjoys contributing to her community through her work as a community educator advocate for American Bone Health and by teaching Pilates to kids at summer sports camps. As a wife and mother of two active athletes, she feels a responsibility to educate people of all ages about the importance of mindful movement and the use of aromatherapy to live well and stay healthy.
